Its a bit of a catch 22 situation. If you do declare your immigration status up front employers may have a policy of not considering candidates who do not currently have the right to work in the EEC - but if on the other hand you decide not to disclose your status at the beginning of the recruitment process employers may consider this a bit sneaky.
The bottom line is that most employers do ask the question "do you have the right to work in the EEC?" If this is the case, you absolutely have to disclose your current status. Hope this helps. Lindsay
