Only one New Year Resolution

Many of us, at the start of a New Year, will make resolutions to do things differently in the year to come. We make resolutions as we recognise that a change in the way we think and behave can make a difference – and we do not want to make the same mistakes again.

One thing that gets in the way of making us feel good about what we can achieve is worrying. If you do not keep any of your resolutions – please make sure you remember this tip as it could make all the difference.

This tip comes from our ‘Succeeding at an Interview’ cards and is from the Heart suit which is about Preparing Mentally and it is called:

Positive Fuel

Most of us visualise on a daily basis, but we often do it unconsciously and in a negative fashion. It is called worrying.

Instead, learn to use positive visualisation to prepare yourself for success. As you do, you will transform the energy that supports your worrying into fuel for making your dreams come true.

Practise visualising performing well at interview and transform negative energy into positive fuel now …
